The mission of the SPA 7 Collaborative is the shared commitment to our children that they deserve a future that realizes their greatest potential, and to this end, we will support our community through the planning and coordination of programs and resources which will facilitate access to services designed to enhance the quality of life for children, youth and families.

Purpose
1. Accomplish the goals and timelines in the Working Agreement with the Children's Planning Council.
2. Advance the Countywide VISION for all children in addition to its responsibility at the local level.
3. Establish regional priorities for effective service funding in the region, and recommend how resources should be utilized among public and private agencies in the region.
4. Promote coordination and collaboration, strengthen inter-agency coordination, and build consensus around policy issues.
5. Make recommendations to public agencies in the region, delegate appropriate responsibilities to and require accountability from standing or ad hoc committees
