Working with the LA County Children’s Planning Council, Margaret Dunkle of George Washington University developed the LA Family & Systems Slide Show, which shows how more than 40 public programs might touch a single family. While this PowerPoint presentation is through the eyes of a working poor family in Los Angeles, the picture would not be very different for any community across the country.
