Since 1994, the Los Angeles County Children’s Planning Council has produced the Children’s ScoreCard, a tool to track progress toward improving the lives of children and families in our county. Measuring and tracking data in key areas of child well-being not only call attentions to needed changes, but can help mobilize us to work together to achieve the outcomes we want for children: good health, safety and survival, economic well-being, social and emotional well-being, and education and workforce
